What support is Provided with the Pack?

The Butchers Food Safety Management System (HACCP based) © pack is provided with a ready to use Daily Record booklet and expert coaching assistance to help you and your business get the system up and running properly and as quickly and easily as possible.
Although this pack is easier to set up and use than some other HACCP systems for
Butchers our experience has identified that businesses will require a little expert help. The ‘Coaching Plan’ has been developed to ensure the help you receive is tailored to suit your individual business needs. It will ensure you have enough support to write your Food Safety Rules in sufficient detail; they accurately reflect all food activities in the business and they are, where necessary, supported by robust Prove it records. Coaching will show you how to monitor your Food Safety Rules and controls as part of you daily and monthly routine.

Your personalised Coaching Plan will provide you with a SFBB Systems Ltd trainer who carries out the agreed coaching sessions at your premises.

The expected minimum template required for a typical butcher’s Coaching Plan is two visits totalling 6 hours, although this will vary depending on the nature of the butchers business. Every business will receive:

  • Butchers Food Safety Rules folder
  • Daily Records Booklet
  • First Coaching session to assist in writing the Food Safety Rules and determine which
  • Prove it records need to be established (4 hours)
  • Second Coaching session to give further assistance and evaluate progress with Prove it records and Daily Records use (2 hours)
  • Post Coaching action plans
  • Personal pass codes to access / download material from SFBB Systems Ltd website
  • Ongoing telephone and email support.
