NEW Enhanced SFBB combined with traditional HACCP
SFBB Systems are now developing Enhanced SFBB Food Safety Management Systems. These are suitable for food businesses that have outgrown the simple original Safer food, better business approach and are typically multi faceted, such as farm shops that have a deli, cafe, small production kitchen, bakery etc, for food operators that predominantly sell high risk foods (sushi bar), single product food manufacturers (meringues, ice cream) or for food businesses that sell high volumes of customers (large garden centres, visitor attractions).
These packs are PC generated using the FSA 2012 revised Safer food, better business template and supplemented with additional Food Safety Methods and if necessary a traditional detailed HACCP study for high risk areas. The critical controls and limits are clearly documented and explained as well as being cross referenced across all sections of the Enhanced pack. The level of detail in the packs is similar to that achieved in our Butchers SFBB and we believe the implementation process greatly improves a business approach to food safety. The Daily Record sheets move away from relying on exception reporting are tailor made for different areas of the food business. The benefit is that you get a deeper more risk concentrated study but do not lose the easily trainable simplicity of SFBB.
